Job Description
Genesis Analytics, a leading impact and strategy consultancy, is calling for applications to join its Young Professionals Cohort for 2026. This is an opportunity for passionate, driven graduates and early career professionals to work on meaningful projects that create lasting change across Africa, Asia, and beyond.
Successful candidates will work as Analysts in either the Shared Value and Impact (SVI) or Competition and Regulatory Economics (CRE) practices, starting from day one on real-world assignments.
Duties
• Work on critical societal, economic, and environmental transitions
• Solve complex problems alongside public, private, and donor-sector clients
• Contribute to meaningful, real-world projects from day one
• Learn and grow through structured training, mentoring, and career development programs
• Collaborate within high-performing teams in a supportive and professional environment
Eligibility Criteria
Essential:
• Postgraduate degree (preferred) or undergraduate degree in:
- Economics
- Development Studies
- International Development
- Public Policy
- Policy Evaluation
- Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE)
- Sustainability
- Global Studies
• Legal right to work in South Africa or Kenya
• Passion, self-motivation, resilience, and problem-solving ability
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
Preferred:
• Master’s degree
• Leadership potential and ability to manage projects
