Job Description
Standard Bank is looking for talented individuals to join its Risk Management division as Graduate Trainees.

This 18-month graduate programme will provide hands-on experience in various risk management areas, preparing candidates to become skilled Risk Practitioners. Graduates will receive mentorship from Senior Executives & Managers while rotating across different risk areas, including:
-Decision Science
- Credit Solution Engineering
- Lending Portfolios (Credit Card, Home Finance, Car Finance, and Personal Loans)
- Fraud Risk Management
- Non-Financial Risk
- Programme Benefits
- Permanent employment from the start of the programme
- Exposure to credit lifecycle management
- Participation in value-adding projects
- Developing and applying data science tools
- Coding skill development
- Contribution to fraud insights and analytics

Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualifications:
Honours or Master’s degree (to be completed by 31 December 2025) in:
- Statistics
- Data Science
- Pure Mathematics
- Actuarial Science
- Informatics / Information Systems
- Computer Science
- Computational and Applied Mathematics
- Econometrics
- Behavioural Economics

Minimum Requirements:
- South African Citizen
- Maximum 18 months of work experience
- Full academic transcripts (for undergraduate & postgraduate studies) must be submitted
