Job Description:
The South African Navy is offering young South Africans a two-year contract under the Military Skills Development System (MSDS). This program provides military training, technical expertise, and career preparation for opportunities within the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) or other industries.

Duties:
Complete Basic Military Training (BMT).
Participate in physical fitness training.
Receive specialized functional training.
Gain hands-on experience in real-life naval operations.
Work under experienced military personnel.

Eligibility Criteria:
Basic Requirements:
South African citizen (no dual citizenship).
No criminal record.
Medically fit with no visible tattoos (legs, lower arms, neck, or face).

Age Requirements:
18–22 years: Must have completed Grade 12 with an APS of 18 (excluding Life Orientation).
18–26 years: Must have an N6 qualification or a three-year tertiary qualification


Available Career Fields:
Combat: Military operations and defense strategies.
Engineering & Technical Services: Mechanics, technology, and maintenance.
Diving: Underwater naval operations (requires strong swimming ability).
Support Services: Administration, medical, and logistics
